LIKE DAUGHTER: Ashli Babbitt’s mother calls for Nancy Pelosi’s death

Mother of Ashli Babbitt

Sometimes the MAGA fruit falls mighty close to the tree.

Micki Witthoeft, the mother of insurrectionist Ashli Babbitt who was killed by an officer protecting the lives of Members of Congress as she crawled through a busted window in the U.S. Capitol Building while police barred the nearby doors, still believes her daughter was in the right and was murdered.

Since her daughter’s death, Witthoeft has joined marches and protests in support of the rioters charged and imprisoned for their roles in the same attack and has become a minor right-wing star, sometimes taking the stage at events to share her views.

A new video is now circulating in which she expresses that former Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi “belongs at the end of a rope.”

She followed it up with a disclaimer, assuring the FBI that she was not making a threat to kill Pelosi, just expressing her wishes.

However, she then went on to emphasize that it is “within our power” as Americans to punish not only Pelosi but Lieutenant Michael Byrd, who prevented Ashli Babbitt from carrying out whatever she may have planned on January 6th. She said:

“Being an equal-opportunity rope-swinger, I think Nancy Pelosi belongs at the end of a rope. These aren’t threats, because I don’t want to get hit with a seditious conspiracy or some other charge….I’m not a vigilante and I don’t plan on stringing Nancy Pelosi or Michael Byrd up. I’ll have to wait for God to give them their justice — or the American people, because it’s within our power.”

Witthoeft has landed herself in hot water with her behavior more than once now.

In January she was arrested for refusing to get out of the road when she was asked to stop blocking traffic at a protest, but was ultimately not charged, according to USA Today.

Apparently, that wasn’t enough for martyrdom because she proceeded to get herself arrested at another protest a few months later, this time for assaulting a counter-protestor. The Independent reported:

“As the woman raised her middle finger, Ms Witthoeft allegedly pushed her before pushing her off the sidewalk…While waving the American flag, Ms Witthoeft sped up to the woman, snatched her megaphone and smashed it on the ground.”

Despite her pre-emptive claiming of victimhood, it’s highly unlikely Witthoeft would face charges for her statements, though repeated death wishes on legislators could certainly earn an investigatory visit, especially if any of her cheering fans took it as a suggestion and tried to act on her wishes.
