FLYNN RESURRECTION: Trump promise threatens religious freedom

Trump Flynn

The U.S. Constitution forbids establishing a state religion, but Michael Flynn, Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor, disgraced general, and QAnon guru, seems to forget that.

Flynn is getting another chance at public office with Trump promising to include him in his next administration if he’s re-elected after pardoning him during his last term for lying to the FBI. Meanwhile, Flynn is promising to create a nation with a single religion, fighting against freedom for any other belief systems than Christianity.

Flynn is on tour for an agenda he calls “Reawaken America,” in which he spreads QAnon propaganda, Christian nationalism, and Trump love. He’s not just a random dude who’s glommed onto the grift, though — he’s thoroughly embraced by the disgraced former president and MAGA.

In clips that are now going viral from Flynn’s appearances, Flynn receives a phone call from Trump promising reinstatement, and gives a chilling warning for what he’ll do with that power. Flynn makes it clear: in his America, there’s only room for one belief system. He said:

“If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion. One nation under God, and one religion under God.”

That clip was originally from 2021, when Trump had been removed from office and it seemed as though Flynn might never again have the power to impose his beliefs on the American people. However, it gained a resurgence of attention when coupled with a newer clip that makes it very relevant again.

At another of Flynn’s events, he connected to Donald Trump by phone, and allowed the former president to address the audience remotely. Trump declared:

“General Flynn is some general, he’s some man….You just stay wealthy and healthy and well and everything…you just have to stay healthy because we’re bringing you back. We’re proud of you, General.”

Flynn, during Trump’s time in office, pled guilty to lying to the FBI about conversations with a Russian Ambassador. Trump pardoned him, after first trying to intercede on his behalf with the FBI’s Director at the time, James Comey.

Trump and Flynn have maintained close ties, with Flynn spreading QAnon propaganda and election conspiracy theories — he continues to falsely claim that his former boss not only won in 2020, but that he’s actually the real president right now.

Now it’s clear that if Trump makes it back to the White House, he’s willing to give Flynn power again, and Flynn is only too happy to tell voters what he plans to do with it.

Watch below:

Trump promises to bring Flynn back into government office with him.

Flynn says that Trump is actually the current President of the United States.

Flynn promises an America with only one religion.

Hopefully, the American people will have the sense to keep Donald Trump out of office in 2024 and prevent the destruction of the rights to freedom of religion enshrined in our Constitution that Flynn is advocating.
