TOSSED: Tiny Proud Boy sentenced to nearly 8 years for "brawling with Antifa"

Proud Boy Tusitala “Tiny” Toese was sentenced on Friday to nearly eight years in prison for his involvement in an August 2021 brawl with antifascist protesters in Portland, Oregon.

Tiny was charged in January 2022 and found guilty in March on five counts of assault, including assault with a weapon, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of riot, and two counts of criminal mischief.

The now-infamous brawl began as a Proud Boys rally in the parking lot of an abandoned KMart in Northeast Portland.

Ready to fight counterprotesters, the rally organizers, along with other far-right groups, armed themselves with paintball guns, bats, clubs, and bear mace, almost guaranteeing a violent outcome.

After the brawl began “almost immediately” when the Antifa protestors arrived, it eventually made its way to the parking lot at nearby Parkrose High School.

One video from the riot showed Toese perched in the flatbed of a pickup truck shooting a paintball gun at protesters.

Another clip shows the Proud Boy attacking another person in a parked vehicle, and assisting others in tipping over an empty van parked nearby.

The Portland Mercury identified the person in the parked car as Mark Nunziata, who was literally just sitting there when Toese reportedly spotted him and yelled, “He is Antifa!”

Tiny then smashed out the driver’s side window with a baseball bat and with a group, attacked Nunziata repeatedly with multiple weapons.

There was no police presence during the violent rally, a deliberate choice made by Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell that Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler later criticized.

Toese was already well-known by local law enforcement for his affiliation with the Proud Boys and their violent presence at various events over the last few years.

His local rap sheet goes back to 2017, when he faced criminal charges for punching a counterprotester in the face, unprovoked.

Teeny pleaded guilty to harassment and was placed on probation.

Toese was also charged with assault in 2018 but fled to his native American Samoa. He was placed on probation again after he returned to Portland, but guess what?

Tiny refused to comply with the terms of the probation. Shocking, I know.

Twitter (I’m never calling it “X” no matter what else Elon does to it) enjoyed the finding out part a lot more than Tiny did, trust.
