The MAGA movement simply cannot let go of their supporters’ long-standing — and arguably obsolescent — hatred of Hillary Clinton.
Nothing proves this better than Congressman Jim Jordan’s (R-OH) openness to include Clinton in his politicized weaponization of government “investigation.”
On Sunday morning, Jordan pointed to the giant “nothing burger” that is the Durham report as justification to investigate all things — including Hillary Clinton — about the 2016 presidential election that Donald Trump somehow won.
In a Sunday morning appearance on Fox News, host Maria Bartiromo asked Jordan if his “weaponization of government” committee would aim its investigation back seven to eight years ago to investigate the Clintons:
“Do you want to see another investigation of Hillary and Bill Clinton? Because in the Durham report, John Durham wrote that while they were pursuing Trump, they made no effort to investigate the claim that Hillary Clinton was taking money from foreigners for her Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Foundation.”
Perhaps that’s because Durham considered it a waste of time?
It should also be noted that Trump’s DOJ put a “red line” on the earlier Mueller investigation which prevented Mueller from investigating Trump’s finances.
Regardless, Jordan answered: (Video below)
“[Durham] not only didn’t investigate her like they did President Trump, they gave her campaign a defensive briefing! They should have done the same for President Trump because they literally had no evidence.”
Jordan then said that he’d have to talk to the committee lawyers and Speaker Kevin McCarthy about the investigation and the direction they want to go.
Jordan did not promise to investigate Hillary. But…
“We’re going to give that a good hard look. But nothing is off the table because it is critical the American people understand how their government, their agencies have been turned on, them the taxpayer, and we get all the facts out there.”
Nothing is off the table? Great!
The committee must be gathering evidence at this very moment about why Trump pardoned all his “friends” — aka “possible witnesses” — and about what they might have said when Trump weaponized his pardon power to interfere with federal investigations.
Clearly, they will also cover Jim Jordan’s threat to “get revenge” and weaponize the government for the January 6th investigation.
The video is utterly fascinating. The Politics Video Channel is entirely wrong in their tweet below saying that Jordan will start a new congressional investigation into Hillary Clinton.

It is probably worth noting that it is stunning that Bartiromo is still employed by Fox News because no one was more vociferous on the air about claiming that the 2020 election had massive problems with voting machines.
Perhaps Fox News is saving her for now because the Dominion settlement reportedly included an unwritten agreement to fire Tucker Carlson.
The network may need a few hosts to throw overboard in a possible Smartmatic settlement.
