An unhinged Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was blocked from speaking during a heated Homeland Security Committee hearing on Thursday after she violated the House rules of decorum–by her own party.
Greene was unwittingly silenced by Committee Chairman Rep. Mark Green (R-TN and no relation, luckily for him) after making unfounded accusations against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
Mayorkas is a new favorite MAGA scapegoat because it’s easier to scream at him about the border than admit Donald Trump is a criminal who’s about to take them all down.
Somehow, it’s Joe Biden’s fault that Trump didn’t secure the border for four years and so now sometimes illegal things come across the border because Hunter Biden’s laptop or something.
OK, Trumpers.
Greene first fumbled after Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) seemed to reference Greene and others in discussing GOP efforts to defund the FBI.
The MAGA Mean Girl immediately retaliated again Swalwell, calling his criticism “rich from someone that had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy and everyone knows it.”
Marge–who, you might recall, is the Queen of Qross Fit TantriQ threesomes–loves to throw that old trope at my Dem Crush even though she knows it’s been debunked.
It’s been widely reported, including by Swalwell himself, that he was warned by the FBI that a suspected Chinese spy was aiding with fundraising efforts for his 2014 reelection campaign.
Swalwell has denied any improper interaction with the woman, Christine Fang (who MAGAts love to call “Fang Fang” when trolling him), including an extramarital affair.
The FBI said there was no indication Swalwell shared any classified intelligence with her.
Meanwhile, I can hit that MAGA propaganda back with two words: “Maria Butina.”
Thankfully, Democrats immediately moved to strike her words, arguing it violated House rules on making attacks based on personality.
GangGreene declined to withdraw them voluntarily, and it’s tough for me to not make a crass joke about what she does withdraw voluntarily, but I’ll refrain.
Chairman Green denied that motion, but the Dems weren’t done dragging her.
Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), former Chairman of the January 6th House Select Committee, demanded an appeal.
“I’ve been on this committee from Day 1. We’ve never had an accusation made of any member like that,” Thompson said. “And I’m appalled at it. We all ought to be embarrassed at it. We are a better committee than what the gentlelady is trying to make of this committee. So I appeal the ruling of the chair,” he said.
That appeal was denied. But her next comments got her silenced.
Marjorie Manson–who has lied about everything from January 6th to COVID to Democrats being pedophiles while she hangs out with too many accused pedos to name, called Secretary Mayorkas a “liar.”
Greene screeched at Mayorkas for “failing to work to stem the flow of fentanyl into the U.S.” which is another one of the many tropes the MAGA GOP is using as a distraction from Donny 34 Indictments.
“You’re a liar. You are letting this go on and the numbers prove it,” Greene screamed without any proof.
Marjorie Taylor Greene’s questions for Mayorkas end abruptly after she calls him a liar, has her words taken down, and Goldman notes that the rules prohibit her from continuing

The Democrats didn’t let that go on, and it was glorious.
This time, the GOP chairman determined bitch went too far and broke the House rules.
“It’s pretty clear that the rules state you can’t impugn someone’s character,” Rep. Green told Rep. Greene.
“Identifying or calling someone a liar is unacceptable in this committee and I make the ruling that we strike those words,” Green said.
But in doing so, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) noted that would block her from continuing her line of questioning.
Chairman Green had no choice but to agree, and that’s how MTG was shut down by House Democrats thanks to her own flapping hatemouth.
Twitter was feasting on the hot fresh roast late on Thursday.
Swalwell: I’m also concerned about people on this committee and their own anti-police rhetoric.

What’s not entertaining is watching Marjorie Taylor Greene, a legit domestic terrorist, turn our government into a worldwide joke.

Holy cow. Rep. Dan Goldman literally just stopped Marjorie Taylor Greene from continuing to ask questions after he cited Committee rules. Rep. Dan Goldman came prepared, he knew the rules, & he shut down Marjorie Taylor Greene. A Masterclass. That was a beautiful moment.

When it comes to being a nasty piece of work, Marjorie Taylor Greene is so eager to be first, her congressional coworkers call her a "See You Next Monday." pic.twitter.com/1aR0ORUVQm
