“What’s happening with my stocks
I want to know
I watch you on the TV every single day
Those eyes make everything okay
I watch her every day
I watch her every night
She´s really outta sight
Maria Bartiromo!“
—Joey Ramone, “Maria Bartiromo”
Pour one out for the late great Joey Ramone, who’d probably be singing a very different tune about the Fox News anchor if he was still with us today.
Thanks to the glorious gift that is the Dominion defamation lawsuit, we’ve learned so many juicy details about the worst disinfotainment network ever created, mainly that their anchors know that just about everything they say is an outright lie.
Maria Bartiromo (FKA “The Money Honey”) used to be the darling of Wall Street, a smart, savvy, and sexy woman who could hold her own with the Masters of Industry and others.

No one can explain MAGA Maria’s meteoric plummet to the bottom of the Fox News barrel after such a great run on CNBC, a legitimate financial news network.
She began with a slot on Fox Business Network in 2013.

But she jumped into that anchor chair on the main Fox News channel like it was Trump’s lap around the same time Joe Biden was sworn into office.
Fox gave Bartiromo a trial run to head its new weekday 7 p.m. Fox News Primetime political opinions show the last week of January 2021, and she just never left.

I like to picture Maria and fellow Trump taint tickler “Judge” Jeanine Pirro braiding each other’s hair when they go home together to the double-wide box of wine they live in.
Anyway, according to the Dominion lawsuit, MAGA Maria was all in on the effort to push Trump’s false claims about 2020 election fraud in the network’s dedicated efforts to prevent angry viewers from hearing any truths that might make them change the channel for good.
Court testimony revealed Maria’s colleagues and certain Fox News executives “raised questions” about her pro-Trump tweets and “expressed concerns” that she was “influenced by right-wing conspiracy theorists” on Parler.
The MAGA Money Dummy was texting with walking Trump scab Steve Bannon, who’s since been convicted of contempt charges for defying a January 6th House Select Committee subpoena, so those concerns had plenty of merits.
The difference between Bartiromo and the many other Fox News disinformation purveyors is that— unlike Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and the other prime time hosts — she is categorized as a “news” anchor, not an opinion host.
This makes any legal arguments that her election lies were protected by her First Amendment rights dubious at best and opens Fox News up to Dominion’s accusations that they knowingly and maliciously reported falsehoods about the voting machine company.
We’ll all just be out here waiting for any consequences for Fox News and its deliberate attempts to sway the results of the 2020 election.
Dishonorable mention goes to their part in pushing false COVID info to increase the American body count under the Trump administration.

Here's the batshit email sent to Sidney Powell that she forwarded to Maria Bartiromo as proof that Dominion voting machines were flipping votes.

Claire McCaskill calls out Fox on Maria Bartiromo, "He is on a woman's show who Fox kept on the air after they admitted she was participating in peddling falsehoods that she knew were false. The fact that she is in an anchor chair at Fox is astounding." #MorningJoe pic.twitter.com/yNXDkJBvpX

Just curious:
How come when an actual journalist like Brian Williams gets caught embellishing a story he loses his job.
But we now know *officially* that Tucker, Hannity, Laura, Bartiromo & Pirro were blatantly lying to their viewers on Jan. 6th
Why aren't they fired, too? pic.twitter.com/PMFLSAX5yx
