WONKY: MAGA gets triggered by chocolate company over Women's History Month spot

If you thought Tucker Carlson’s obsession with the footwear of cartoon M&Ms in commercials was Qrazy, welcome to MAGA’s dual nightmare of Women’s History Month intersecting with World Book Day.

Imagine being so delicate and fragile that you feel like your safe snowflake space is being threatened by CHOCOLATE.

That’s what happened Thursday on Twitter, where “#BoycottHersheys” and “#GoWokeGoBroke” were trending, all because the candy company had the audacity to feature a transgender activist in a commercial.

Honestly, if you’re letting this stop you from eating a Hershey bar, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.

Hershey has also partnered with Girls on the Run, a nonprofit organization focused on “supporting, empowering, and inspiring girls to realize their limitless potential.” As part of the partnership, Hershey’s is donating $150,000 to Girls on the Run.

MAGA just can’t handle the concept of letting other people live no matter how many times they quote the Bible, which is where the OG concept of letting other people live came from.

They also have never been able to explain how another person’s expression of their authentic truth is a threat to them, so my assumption is that they’re repressing their self-hate as they question their own sexual identity.

Of course, if anyone protesting Hershey’s over their inclusion was inclined to dig a little deeper into the company, they’d find actual real reasons to choose a different chocolate source.

Hershey’s history isn’t exactly stellar, with a list of dubious stockholders and accusations of using child labor in their international factories.

This just presents a troublesome decision for consumers who want to support the transgender community while celebrating Women’s History Month, because Hershey’s is still problematic while also occasionally doing the right thing.
