HOW-WEIRD: Kurtz says Fox News won't let him report on Dominion defamation lawsuit

Fox News anchor Howard Kurtz devoted a segment of his Sunday show to explain to those who have some sort of awareness beyond the network why they haven’t seen any Dominion lawsuit coverage.

“Some of you have been asking why I’m not covering the Dominion voting machines lawsuit against Fox involving the unproven claims of election fraud in 2020,” Kurtz said. “And it’s absolutely a fair question.”

Kurtz explained exactly why: Daddy Rupert Murdoch said so.

“I strongly disagree with that decision,” Kurtz said. “But as an employee, I have to abide by it.”

The anchor threw plenty of shade along with the Fox-splaining.

“I believe I should be covering it, it’s a major media story, given my role here at Fox,” Kurtz said. “But the company has decided that as part of the organization being sued, I can’t talk about it or write about it, at least for now.”

Fox News has never wanted to tell its audience the truth about anything, and why it’s allowed to call itself “news” when it’s actually “Disinfotainment” is something the FCC should really be looking into.

We have now learned from the Dominion Voting Systems defamation lawsuit that their on-air lineup of hatemongers was not only well aware that they were lying to their viewers, but they also openly mocked Donald Trump, his allies, and the audience themselves.

That audience remains so willfully obtuse that they’re still watching Fox, probably because the majority of them haven’t heard about the Dominion lawsuit in the first place.

Look at the pure joy Fox News anchor Howard Kurtz feels at being silenced by his employers at Faux News. FOR THE LOVE OF THE JOB, huh Howie?

Props to those who even asked.

Seriously, if we’re ever going to wrestle the conversation back to a place where we can have something that resembles respectful political discourse, it’s important to acknowledge that not every Republican voter has their head up their own butt.

Hey, Howard, your pal Chris Wallace bugged out for CNN (which is kind of a lateral move, but still) because he couldn’t take all of the lying, so there’s probably also a gig for you somewhere else.

This is your chance to be the architect of your own destiny, Howie!
