“Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston was trending on Twitter on Monday for explaining to CNN’s Chris Wallace–who used to be on Fox, it’s worth noting–what it really means when someone says “Make America Great Again” and just how hella racist it really is.
After all, he’s the one who knocks.
Cranston also portrayed President Lyndon Johnson in the excellent film “All the Way” and seems to share the same low tolerance for bullshittery that LBJ did.
Instead of treading lightly, Cranston laid it out.
“How did we get to a point where we treated other human beings as slaves?” Cranston asks Wallace, his voice full of disgust. “And we’re okay with that?”
The star of “Your Honor” brought the truth extra hard after that.
