Why is the truth so terrifying to the Trumpers?
A new movement by the extreme right to subjugate all independent thought in America has officially entered into what Mel Brooks categorized as “Ludicrous Speed” in “Spaceballs.”
The MAGAts aren’t keeping it a secret that they want to eliminate the Department of Education and ban all books from schools and public libraries containing any material they personally find objectionable.
Once again, if you want to be in a groupthink cult for Jeebus, that’s your problem. However, you don’t get to push your Bible-thumping beliefs on all of America.
But you can’t tell that to the “God-fearing conservative” women who likely founded “Moms For Liberty” to set back the Christian Forbearance movement even more because the guidelines just aren’t antiquated enough.
Hiding their hate behind the alleged “protection” of children, Moms For Liberty was founded in early 2021 in Florida because OF COURSE, IT WAS.

They originally focused on opposing mask mandates in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, because nothing says “loving moms” like not protecting their kids from a deadly and easily transmitted virus.
But that wasn’t enough terrible to keep them grifting going, so Moms For Liberty expanded its hate platform to oppose LGBT-positive policies and materials in schools, “critical race theory” (which you know they can’t define) being taught to kids, and anything else that might allow for the space for students to learn and think for themselves.

Moms For Liberty has expanded and now has over 200 county chapters nationwide in 35 states. The organization currently claims over 200,000 members.
Yaaaaay hateful repression of the First Amendment!
The founders of Moms For Liberty all have shady Florida crimings somewhere in their bios.
In October 2022, it was revealed that Moms For Liberty paid $21,357 to a company owned by Christian Ziegler, a current Sarasota County commissioner and vice chairman of the Florida GOP who also just happens to be married to M4L’s Bridget Ziegler.
Weird, huh? Self-serving cults are the worst.
We have a First Amendment for so many reasons, and right now I’m using it to scream about these Qunts.
There’s nothing redeeming about people who try to silence independent thoughts and repress individual freedoms.
As a fellow white woman and mother, I claim absolutely none of them.
