SOCIOPATHIC PANIC: Trump strikes at election workers with dangerous online attacks

Donald Trump’s attacks on former election workers Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shaye Moss after the January 6th House Select Committee released transcripts of the ladies’ testimony during the panel’s televised hearings caused them to flee their homes after receiving death threats.

On Monday, Trump renewed the incendiary rhetoric of attacks against them.

“Wow! Has anyone seen the Ruby Freeman ‘contradictions’ of her sworn testimony? Now, this is ‘BIG STUFF.’ Look what was captured by Cobb County police body cameras on January 4, 2021. … Now it gets really bad,” MSNBC’s Steve Benen quoted the disgraced ex-president as saying.

But he wasn’t done spreading lies that members of his own team told him were unsubstantiated.

There is a mountain of evidence featuring corroborated witness testimony from among the highest ranks of the Trump administration affirming that Trump was told, repeatedly and directly, that his accusations of election fraud were patently false. – The Daily Kos.

“What will the Great State of Georgia do with the Ruby Freeman MESS?” Trump wrote on Truth Social Monday evening.

“Why not just tell the TRUTH, get rid of the turmoil and guilt, and take our Country back from the evils and treachery of the Radical Left monsters who want to see America die?”

After the video of the ballot counting process at Georgia’s State Farm Arena, Trump allies pushed baseless conspiracy theories about Freeman and Moss, accusations – that have long ago been disproven – that the two women committed election fraud to tilt the results in President Joe Biden’s favor.

This set off a chain of events that would change their lives forever.

“Lady” Ruby, as she’s affectionately called, was forced to leave the home she’d lived in for two decades after credible threats to her life.

Public testimony before the House Select Committee by Freeman and her daughter was heartbreaking to see and terrifying to hear.

’We know where you live and we’re coming to get you, nigger,’ or ‘You’re going to jail and you’re gonna rot in hell,’ or you know, ‘Your voicemail says about your faith and you’re a Christian. Do you think Biden is gonna help you now that you have given him all these ballots?

“I was afraid to go out. I was afraid for people to call my name,” Freeman said. “I was always fearful, I was always afraid.

And now – two years to the day Freeman was told by the FBI that her life was in danger – Trump is at it again, ramping up his attacks on two innocent women, American citizens who were simply doing their jobs.

For that, they have been terrified, vilified, and traumatized by the 2024 candidate.

‘EVERYTHING THEY SAID WAS FALSE,” Trump wrote on his fledgling social media network. “TROUBLE FOR RUBY.”

Lady Ruby and Ms. Moss reached a settlement with One America News, which admitted to spreading falsehoods about the pair.

A judge rejected longtime Trump loyalist Rudy Giuliani’s attempts to have the civil suit against him thrown out.

No amount of money can give the ladies back their names, their homes, or the normalcy they once knew.

Freeman not only lost her home and community but was forced to close her online accessories boutique.

“Do you know how it feels to have the president of the United States to target you?” Freeman testified. He targeted me. A proud American citizen who stood up to help Fulton County run an election in the middle of a pandemic.”

“There is nowhere I feel safe. Nowhere,” Freeman told the Jan. 6th Committee during June’s testimony.
