TRUMPER TANTRUM: Former guy freaks out when judge denies defamation delay

LASTING TRAUMA: E. Jean Carroll candidly details devastating, irreversible damage to her life by Trump

Former President Donald Trump’s aversion to keeping his mouth shut could backfire in his defense for defamation in E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit against him. Incapable of knowing when to quit, the ex-President went on a crazy social media rant after a judge denied his motion to delay deposition in the case.

Calling Carroll’s lawsuit against him, a “complete con job,” Trump’s rant was deranged saying, “It is a Hoax and a lie, just like all the other Hoaxes that have been played on me for the past seven years. And, while I am not supposed to say it, I will. This woman is not my type!”

But the five-alarm meltdown wasn’t over. According to the Associated Press, the rant continued:

“She completely made up a story that I met her at the doors of this crowded New York City Department Store and, within minutes, ‘swooned’ her. It is a Hoax and a lie, just like all the other Hoaxes that have been played on me for the past seven years,” he said

“I don’t know this woman, have no idea who she is, other than it seems she got a picture of me many years ago, with her husband, shaking my hand on a reception line at a celebrity charity event,” Trump said.

In an interview with VICE reporter, Greg Walters, former federal prosecutor Barbara McQuade weighed in on the foolish move by the accused rapist.

“She [Carroll] should amend her complaint to include an additional count based on the new statement,” McQuade told VICE News. “Because Trump is no longer president, this statement was most certainly not made in the scope of his federal employment.”

The former Elle magazine advice columnist came forward in 2019, accusing Trump of “cornering,” and raping her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the ’90s. The Hill reported:

Carroll said on CNN that Trump “just went at it” when he allegedly cornered her in a dressing room at Bergdorf Goodman, adding that “he pulled down my tights, and it was a fight.”

McQuade isn’t the only legal expert weighing in on the potential consequences of Trump’s rant. George Conway, longtime Republican operative and husband of the ex-President’s former Senior Counsel, Kellyanne Conway tweeted:

For three years, E. Jean Carroll has been steadfast in her pursuit of justice. With the State of New York’s reinstatement of the Adult Survivor Act on November 24th, Carroll will no longer be encumbered by the statute of limitations and has the green light to pursue a civil case against former President Trump. Thanks to his narcissistic drive to keep talking, he just substantiated her case.

Win-win.
