CANCELED: New York Attorney General Letitia James forces Trump to postpone North Carolina rally

Donald Trump was forced to cancel a scheduled rally in North Carolina because the insurrectionist-in-chief has to appear in court to testify in the civil case that New York Attorney General Letitia James has been building against the grifter.

“Former President Trump and his adult children, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr., are scheduled to testify under oath on July 15 as part of a probe by the New York attorney general into his finances,” the court filing says.

Unfortunately for the former president’s political agenda, July 15th is the same day that he was scheduled to appear at a lucrative Greensboro, North Carolina rally. Ordered by a judge to appear at his deposition, Trump has no outs on this one.

The North Carolina rally was a ticket that included Kimberly Guilfoyle, “Judge box-of-wine” Jeanine Pirro, and convicted – then pardoned – felon Dinesh D’Souza and cost supporters almost $4000 to attend. But the disgraced ex-president won’t be there. Instead he’ll be answering for his family’s grift through the Trump Organization amid accusations of manipulating their real estate holdings’ valuations to get loans and avoid taxes.

Axios reported that Attorney General James has found that the Trump Organization “used fraudulent and misleading asset valuations to obtain economic benefits.”

With the Jan. 6 televised hearings set to resume tomorrow, the so-called American Freedom Tour may be on a permanent pause. The New York Attorney General’s investigation coincides with that by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

While the New York investigation is for a civil case, the Georgia investigation is looking at criminal charges for the ex-President’s attempt to overturn Georgia’s results in the 2020 Presidential election, evidence of which was captured on an audio recording. The recording revealed that Trump asked Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” him 11,780 votes – one more than he needed to beat then-President-elect Joe Biden.

Ex-President Donald Trump is wracking up the losses. The proverbial walls are closing in on the head narcissist as investigations into his businesses – Trump Organization and Truth Social – gain steam. Not to mention Georgia’s investigation into his blatant attempts to overturn a free and fair election and his role in inciting the violence of Jan. 6.

Accountability is coming.
