McConnell: "Looks like the majority is going to have us vote on the motion to proceed to the budget this afternoon. They've chosen a totally partisan path… We're off to a totally partisan start. I think that's unfortunate."
"Life is a series of choices, and they've chosen."

One has to almost burst out in cynical laughter after hearing the pope of partisanship utter such hypocritical words.
After all, this is the man who claimed early in the Obama administration that “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”
This is the man who deprived President Obama of his rightful nominee to the Supreme Court by invoking a previously unheard of doctrine that a president in his last year of office shouldn’t be allowed to have their nominee to the court considered, a doctrine he immediately repudiated when Donald Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court just weeks before the 2020 presidential election.
This is the man who rammed a generous tax giveaway to the ultra-wealthy through the Senate without a single Democratic vote using the same budget reconciliation process that Democrats are now considering using to pass the pandemic stimulus relief legislation.
One could go on and on, listing all of Senator McConnell’s backroom partisan maneuvers, but perhaps it’s best to let the folks on Twitter have their say about what they think of the senior senator from Kentucky’s comment today.
I second that…

Hypocrisy, thy name is Mitch McConnell. How can anyone still take this man seriously as anything other than an extreme partisan hack?
It’s time for the Democrats to treat the GOP to a taste of their own tactics and for McConnell to stop whining and take it like he gives it.
