Donald Trump may have lost faith in Fox News, a network that he declared dead in a Twitter rampage this morning, but even a cursory glance at the channel’s programming demonstrates how much the Rupert Murdoch-controlled media outlet continues to carry the water of the defeated president and the right-wing conspiracy theories he has based his presidency upon.
Take Tucker Carlson, for instance.
The superannuated frat boy received considerable backlash from dedicated MAGA-types when he said — while Trump is still falsely claiming to have won the election — that although the 2020 presidential election “was not fair,” Trump had lost it.
However, a quick review of one of Carlson’s recent broadcasts clearly shows that the Fox News host continues to peddle the same anti-Semitic neo-Nazi conspiracy theories about financier George Soros that have been a staple of Donald Trump’s Twitter feed for years.
In a rant that would sound familiar to anyone who has read about The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the fabricated anti-Semitic text purporting to describe a Jewish plan for global domination, Carlson described Soros, a Hungarian-born American billionaire investor and philanthropist, in terms reminiscent of an Adolph Hitler speech at a Nazi bund rally.
Needless to say, one shouldn’t put an ounce of credence in any of Carlon’s accusations about George Soros, but the promulgation of these baseless conspiracy theories on a major media outlet finds an eager audience among disgruntled Trump supporters and does nothing but support the divisive agenda of the rejected president.
Take a look at how Carlson falsely attributes every ill that America faces to the nefarious influence of a secretive Jewish billionaire with an assurance that his gullible viewers will lap up and internalize as deep-rooted anti-Semitism to complement their likely already present racism.

If only Donald Trump’s angry response to Fox News’ more cautious — and reality-based — approach to the election results now that the electoral college vote has declared Biden the lawful winner of the contest was actually true and this “news” network was really dead.
The less that this purveyor of divisiveness is seen, the better.
