The very fact that Trump continues to insist that he “received hundreds of thousands of legal votes more, in all of the Swing States, than” Joe Biden when that totally counterfactual claim has been disproven time and again by the election officials, including members of his own party, in the states he claims to have won, is a sign not of courage, but of malicious, self-interested duplicity and/or deluded insanity.

There is no courage in Trump’s refusing to face up to his loss.

There is no courage in attempting to claim a victory that he hasn’t earned.

There is no courage in destroying public confidence in the fairness of an election that has been declared free, fair, and lacking in any sort of electoral malfeasance that could transform Trump’s massive defeat into a victory for him.

There is only pathos and shame.

Donald Trump’s sniveling is as far from courage as you will find.
