Finally! A Democrat was willing to go on Fox News and ask the question many of us have been asking for ages — “Why the hell does Tucker Carlson still have a job here?”
In any era before the Trump regime occupied the White House, an admitted white nationalist would not be allowed anywhere near the hosting chair on a major news network, although it’s debatable as to how many closeted neo-Nazi sympathizers may have been hosting programs on Fox News in that period.
Yet with the right-wing purveyor of slanted news coverage dominating the ratings, many Democratic politicians chose to simply boycott the network that peddles lies about their party rather than appear on-air and confront the hosts directly about their poor human resources vetting, even after their top news personality and their CEO were ousted amidst #MeToo allegations of sexual harassment.

One must, therefore, praise Democratic National Committee Vice Chair Michael Blake for his bold and forthright confrontation today with anchor Bill Hemmer just a few hours after Tucker Carlson told viewers that he was rooting for Russia in its armed invasion of eastern Ukraine.
Carlson later retracted his comments about favoring the team that his bosom buddy Donald Trump seems to be at least an active supporter of, if not its official mascot.
Fox’s Hemmer was trying to get Mr. Blake to respond to one of Tucker Carlson’s rectally-extracted speculative theories — that former First Lady Michelle Obama would go on to become the 2020 Democratic nominee for president.
The inquiry inspired Blake to ask that fateful and oh-so-relevant question — “Why the hell does Tucker Carlson still have a job here?” — in light of Carlson’s denial that white supremacy is an issue in this country.
He never got an answer to that query, but he did manage to respond to Hemmer’s original line of questioning, saying that a Michelle Obama run for president was “not going to happen.”
You can watch Michael Blake hijack his Fox News interview to rightfully slam their prime time anchor in the video clip below.
