Donald Trump took to Twitter this morning to throw an utterly pathetic fit about Fox News. The president was absolutely incensed that the conservative network—usually little more than an overt misinformation machine for his administration—had invited a spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee on.

Trump whined that the Fox host Sandra Smith let the DNC surrogate go on “spewing out whatever she wanted with zero pushback,” which is laughably ironic given the fact that it’s a far more apt description of every time Trump has given an interview with the network. Whether it’s Hannity, Ingraham, or one of the goons from The Five they always bow and scrape in an effort to not upset him and amplify his message. They never push back.
The president also took the opportunity to smear CNN and MSNBC as going “all in” for the “Open Border Socialists (or beyond)” even though there isn’t a single person running for the Democratic nomination who fits that description. Since Trump can’t actually beat them on ideas and policies, he’s forced to invent a strawman version of the Democratic Party to attack.
On top of that, the two networks in question have not endorsed a candidate and will not, but Trump sees anything less than complete support of his administration as de facto support for his opposition.
Once he got started, the list of grievances came pouring out. Trump complained about Fox‘s hiring of Donna Brazile, who was an interim chair of the DNC. He also decried Juan Williams, presumably because he also writes for the “Fake News Media” at The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal. Fox host Shep Smith also came under attack from Trump, probably because he has become a consistent critic of Trump’s worst behavior.
“HOPELESS AND CLUELESS,” Trump said, describing his feelings about either the three aforementioned individuals or Fox in general. Giving into delusions of his own electoral prowess, he added that they could all go “way LEFT” and he would still find a way to “Win” without their support, conveniently failing to mention that he has achieved no real substantive victories since he took office.

“…I don’t want to Win for myself,” the notorious egomaniac went on. “I only want to Win for the people.” Anyone gullible enough to still believe him at this point, after he has repeatedly demonstrated that he doesn’t care about a single soul other than himself, will probably never be convinced.

The tweetstorm ended with Trump pronouncing that Fox News has let him and his supporters down and is no longer working for them (implicitly admitting that the network is little more than conservative propaganda in the process). He added that it’s time for the MAGA movement to start “looking for a new News Outlet.”
Where they could possibly find a network more right-wing and detached from reality than Fox is anyone’s guess. It’s possible the president is laying the groundwork to launch his own media company, something which many have speculated he might one day do. If so, the world should prepare for a toxic brew of victimhood politics, barely masked white nationalism, and outright madness,
Just watched @FoxNews heavily promoting the Democrats through their DNC Communications Director, spewing out whatever she wanted with zero pushback by anchor, @SandraSmithFox. Terrible considering that Fox couldn’t even land a debate, the Dems give them NOTHING! @CNN & @MSNBC….

….are all in for the Open Border Socialists (or beyond). Fox hires “give Hillary the questions” @donnabrazile, Juan Williams and low ratings Shep Smith. HOPELESS & CLUELESS! They should go all the way LEFT and I will still find a way to Win – That’s what I do, Win. Too Bad!….

….I don’t want to Win for myself, I only want to Win for the people. The New @FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!
