This morning, the president took to Twitter to angrily deny that his Doral golf resort had a bedbug problem and accused the “radical left Democrats” of spreading the “nasty rumor” in the wake of his proposal to hold the G7 conference there next year.

No bedbugs at Doral. The Radical Left Democrats, upon hearing that the perfectly located (for the next G-7) Doral National MIAMI was under consideration for the next G-7, spread that false and nasty rumor. Not nice!

Of course, it’s not a “nasty rumor,” and there is substantial evidence to prove otherwise.

In 2017, the Trump Organization quietly settled a lawsuit with New Jersey insurance executive Eric Linder, who woke up with his arms and back covered in bites from the vicious little beasts. No details about the confidential settlement were released, but in an extremely Trumpian statement, the resort blamed Linder for having “conducted himself so carelessly and negligently that his conduct was the sole proximate cause or contributing cause.”

There are court documents proving that this true. While it comes as no surprise at this point, the President’s willingness to completely rewrite the truth and deny the evidence being presented to his face is still astounding to behold.
