Trump just pretended the G7 leaders wanted to know why the media “hates” America

President Trump has spent the majority of his Sunday railing against the media for their accurate reporting of his negative polling and continued to do so well into the afternoon, taking time out of the negotiations at the G7 to tweet a preposterous and obviously fake lie about what his fellow world leaders:

It goes without saying that there is no way anyone at the G7 asked Trump this. In fact, they likely think America is a much worse off than it was four years, thanks to the stunning incompetence and reckless behavior of President Trump.

What this really tells us is the president’s insecurity and worry about the economic instability that his unnecessary trade wars with China are reaching dangerous new heights, as is his frustration with the media’s pesky insistence on reporting the facts and not simply lying to the world to soothe the president’s ego.

This is just the latest in a string of tweets attacking the media today. He even lashed out at his beloved FOX News this morning for accurately reporting on his sinking poll numbers while touting the notoriously biased Rasmussen polling to make himself feel better.

It is truly embarrassing to watch the President of the United States put words in the mouths of our international allies, the rest of whom actually respect the right to a free press, in order to wage his war against the American media and against the truth itself.
