Kellyanne Conway’s husband just begged the White House staff to intervene after Trump’s wacky Wednesday

George Conway continued his efforts today to have Donald Trump removed from office through the mechanisms of the 25th Amendment due to the president’s mental instability.

The noted Republican Trump opponent — married ironically enough to White House Senior Advisor Kellyanne Conway — yesterday sent a tweeted plea to Vice President Pence and members of the Trump cabinet to pay attention to Trump’s erratic behavior and speech patterns and declare him unfit for office.

Today, after Trump went on a wild and rambling rant to reporters on the White House lawn where he declared himself “the chosen one,” Conway was back on Twitter calling for immediate action from the White House Staff — presumably including his own wife — to whom he addressed his tweet.

Conway included a link to the website of the Behavioral Health Center at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, just in case anyone at the Oval Office hadn’t already input the contact info for the hospital into their phones.

He then spent the rest of the day augmenting his argument that Trump has crossed the line from the barely rational to over the top — and dangerous — insanity, often with accompanying proof on video.

Among his many tweets, retweets, and replies were these gems:

Mr. Conway can be forgiven for being a bit repetitive in his themes on Twitter today.

After all, it’s not often that one gets to live-tweet the mental breakdown of a U.S. president as he self-destructs right in front of the cable news TV cameras.

Unlike Donald Trump who has flip-flopped repeatedly in the past few days on enacting stronger background checks for gun purchases and on tax cuts, at least Mr. Conway is consistent in his messaging.

One must wonder, however, why he doesn’t simply ask his wife to help push his agenda among other White House insiders who could actually help reveal even more compelling evidence of the necessity for swift action to remove an unstable mind from control of the nuclear codes and the ability to issue dangerous executive orders.

If he fails to enlist Kellyanne in his quest to invoke the 25th amendment, Mr. Conway runs the risk of having his anti-Trump activism be perceived as part of an elaborate public relations doubles act that ensures that at least one member of the family remains employable after Trump is gone and our long national nightmare ends.

Of course, whatever the base motivation for the respected never-Trump Republican lawyer’s tweets, none of it takes away from the truth of their content and the danger of keeping such an obviously deranged and mentally unstable old man in power.
