After Donald Trump’s campaign rally-style visit to a newly completed Shell plastics factory in western Pennsylvania — an example of exactly the kind of environmentally-harmful energy industry manufacturing that America needs to innovate its way away from to ensure the planet’s eventual survival — the Republican Party decided to send an ill-timed celebratory tweet.
