FOX Nation host and shamelessly racist white grievance preacher Tomi Lahren was forced to apologize on Thursday after sparking an outcry from both liberals and conservatives for a disgusting smear against Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA).
Repeating a common Republican conspiracy theory, Lahren accused the former California Attorney General and current United States Senator of “sleeping her way to the top” in a tweet that quickly took off on social media for all the wrong reasons.
Kamala did you fight for ideals or did you sleep your way to the top with Willie Brown?

I didn’t make this up. Willie Brown admitted it. The truth hurts. https://t.co/WvmhXWa5kO

Harris briefly dated former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown over 20 years ago while he was estranged but legally still married to his wife. There is no evidence that any kind of ethical impropriety occurred and the idea that he somehow is responsible for her entire and very accomplished career is both absurd and deeply offensive.
The backlash erupted immediately — and surprisingly, from both sides of the aisle.
Fellow FOX News host Britt McHenry was one of the first to call her out; she was soon joined by 15,000 others as the trending algorithm boosted Lahren’s appalling tweet to the rest of the social media network.

Do you have any idea how damaging this is to women who’ve actually been sexually harassed, assaulted or demeaned in the workplace? How much this weakens our own gender, regardless of partisanship. My goodness.

If a male contributor had tweeted this they would probably be suspended with a trip to HR. Pretty disgusting, Tomi. Are clicks and retweets worth demeaning women? Would you do the same to a “conservative” female candidate?

I am curious to know what you think bringing a woman’s personal/sexual life into this accomplishes. Men do that to us enough as it is. I’m honestly asking. https://t.co/MgO0yMrAHT

Lahren ultimately decided to apologize today, which is extremely rare from the vicious and constantly offensive right-wing and its rabid commentators.
I apologize for my comment on Kamala’s personal relationship. It was the wrong choice of words. There are many other things to take her to task for and I will stick to those.
