Conservative Republican lawyer George Conway never tires of pointing out what a persistent and psychopathic liar is now occupying the White House, and Donald Trump never fails to offer Conway a new opportunity to focus attention on his daily mendacities.

Today, Conway — whose wife Kellyanne works closely alongside the habitual deceiver in the Oval Office — went on a rant attacking Trump’s “sickness,” as he describes the president’s inability to even approach the truth, after reading a tweet from MSNBC’s Joy Reid showing Trump’s pathetic attempt to siphon off glory from the 9-11 first responders.

The president was at a bill signing ceremony for the permanent reauthorization of the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund when he made the remarks that both Reid and Conway took issue with, claiming that he was at the site of the World Trade Center collapse on that fateful day.
Trump was not "down there" during 9/11 with first responders, and the only role he played was bragging on TV that he now had the biggest building in NY once the towers fell. Oh and lying about how American Muslims reacted to 9/11. https://t.co/5ZMyudJG4l

Reid is absolutely correct about Trump’s whereabouts and behavior during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. His false display of unearned modesty in saying that he doesn’t consider himself a first responder is an attempt to avoid charges of stolen virtue while insinuating that he otherwise played some role on that fateful day.

George Conway saw Reid’s tweet, questioned whether the nation has ever experienced a more boastful and deceptive public figure, and correctly identified Trump’s perverse compulsion to purposefully mislead America as a pathological illness.
Has America ever witnessed a bigger pathological liar? Virtually every day, often multiple times a day, easily disprovable lies. And utterly pointless ones. It’s a sickness. https://t.co/mcNu3cWleI

Unfortunately, Trump’s lying has helped land him in the White House, so the only cure for the nation having to endure a president with a crippling disability in terms of the truth is to remove him from office.
