The toll on the president’s fingers and on his mind must be devastating.

So many tweets to type — the copious typos and random capitalization that they typically contain prove that he isn’t using Siri to dictate them — and so little new to say.
Some of the difficulty of the task can be remediated by choosing to retweet the posts of others as Donald Trump did this morning when he decided to gaslight America into thinking that he and his heinous policies have tremendous support among the women in this country — a group that recent polls have shown he has only managed to garner the backing of 38% of the population.
Click, click, click. Woosh, Woosh, Woosh! That blast of propaganda gets posted to Trump’s feed, falsely portraying a groundswell of female excitement at the prospect of a second term for the misogynistic president.
Incredibly honored to be part of the Women for Trump Coalition, which launched this morning in Pennsylvania. My goal is to help young women get involved and feel empowered. As much as the Left tries to act like “women for Trump don’t exist,” we do. pic.twitter.com/7tnuA9IoXt

Meet 'The REAL Squad'.
We are #WomenForTrump.
Women stand with President @realDonaldTrump and nothing will stop @TeamTrump from winning again.
And Democrats can NEVER tell us otherwise.

Look at all those pre-printed signs obviously handed out by his campaign aides!
Having exhausted the material available to retweet, Trump was forced to revisit the familiar territory of his greatest hits, bereft of anything new to offer outside of slightly adjusting the targets of his attacks.
He warmed up with a mild by comparison immigration rant.
Big progress at the Border, but Dems in Congress must change the Immigration Laws for all to be good! End the Loopholes and much more.

Then he made sure he posted his practically daily assault on the free press with an accusation of fake news against The Washington Post for their detailed and well-sourced article describing the behind the scenes chaos in the Republican party in the wake of Trump’s racist tweetstorm attacking “the squad” and the “send her back” chants at his North Carolina rally earlier this week.
The Washington Post Story, about my speech in North Carolina and tweet, with its phony sources who do not exist, is Fake News. The only thing people were talking about is the record setting crowd and the tremendous enthusiasm, far greater than the Democrats. You’ll see in 2020!

He was primed now to send his next few tweets in rapid succession. It was easy after all. He’s tweeted the exact same words hundreds of times before.
Presidential Harassment!

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Trump won’t win any awards for originality, but even Elizabeth Warren would have to credit his persistence.
The president still had one more tweet ready to spew forth, however. How could he let a day go by without an obligatory attack on his new favorite nemeses, the four progressive Democratic congresswomen he’s chosen as his newest punching bags?

I don’t believe the four Congresswomen are capable of loving our Country. They should apologize to America (and Israel) for the horrible (hateful) things they have said. They are destroying the Democrat Party, but are weak & insecure people who can never destroy our great Nation!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 21, 2019
Trump’s pathetic attacks on Representatives Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib are best read by substituting Trump’s own name anywhere that he refers to the congresswomen.
If the tweet instead read “I don’t believe Donald Trump is capable of loving our Country. He should apologize to America (and Israel) for the horrible (hateful) things he has said. He is destroying the Republican Party, but is a weak & insecure person who can never destroy our great Nation!”, then the president’s tweet actually would conform to reality as most Americans see it.
Trump’s exercise in political attacks and psychological projection was now done for the day. Fear not, however. The chances that Trump will be back soon recycling his greatest hits on Twitter is close to 100%. Perhaps he’ll even find something new and equally outrageously false, equally cynically manipulative to post next time.
