The stomach-churning saga of billionaire arch-pedophile Jeffrey Epstein exploded into the news once again over the weekend with the bombshell revelation that he has been arrested in New York over allegations of involvement in the sex trafficking of minors. Today, federal prosecutors unsealed an indictment that reveals they seized a “vast trove” of lewd photographs of girls and women who look very young when they raided Epstein’s home.
The Epstein story is particularly newsworthy because of his connections to various influential politicians and businessmen, including past associations with Donald Trump and well-known lawyer and Trump advocate Alan Dershowitz. Trump himself was accused in 2016 of previously raping a 13-year-old girl at one of Epstein’s parties. In 2002, Trump made comments about Epstein that seem to allude to him being well aware of Epstein’s pedophilia.
“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life,” Trump said to New York Magazine.
In addition to the aforementioned connections, Epstein was given a “sweetheart” nonprosecution deal by then-U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta in Florida in 2007, despite credible claims and evidence that Epstein sexually abused a staggering number of underage girls. He was given a mere 18 months in prison, placed in a private section of the Palm Beach County Stockade, and given the astonishing privilege of being allowed to visit his office six days a week to “work.” Acosta has since gone on to become Trump’s Labor Secretary, a “coincidence” that is raising a lot of eyebrows.

Now, Trump’s Attorney General William Barr has recused himself from the Epstein case. According to CNN, Barr told reporters that he has chosen to do so because he worked for a law firm that represented Epstein prior to Barr’s hiring there. Additionally, former FBI Assistant Director Frank Figliuzzi pointed out on Twitter that Barr’s father hired Epstein to teach at Dalton School in New York in 1973, despite the fact that Epstein did not have a college degree.
Yes, AG Barr oversees the US Attorney’s Office in NY, so it’s possible he could attempt to interfere, though it would be obvious. Also, many years ago, Barr’s father hired Epstein to teach at the private Dalton school, with no college degree. So there’s that…

The full story of Epstein’s heinous crimes and those caught in his depraved, corrupt web will surely emerge in the coming weeks, but what we already know is deeply suspicious and could spell serious trouble for the Trump administration.
