World-famous singer, songwriter, and actress Bette Midler has had enough of President Donald Trump’s nonsense and is calling the coven to action.
A week after the President publicly insulted her and smeared her as a “washed-up psycho” for unknowingly sharing a meme with a fake (but very convincing) Trump quote on it, Midler has called for two of the president’s biggest female critics to join forces with her against him.
Sisters!! @kathygriffin @StormyDaniels
It's been three hundred years
Right down to the day
Now the witches are back
And there's h*** to pay! pic.twitter.com/StOL335Lxr— Bette Midler (@BetteMidler) June 10, 2019
The image is a reference to Midler’s starring role in the beloved 1993 film Hocus Pocus, with the faces of Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy replaced with those of her new anti-Trump crew.
Comedian Kathy Griffin famously drew the president’s ire after posing with a replica of Trump’s bloody, severed head. Stormy Daniels, of course, is the president’s ex-mistress who waged a high-profile legal battle against him in order to free herself from the NDA that she signed. In the process, the award-winning porn star and director exposed the illegal hush money payments that his lawyer made to her, which eventually led to his pleading guilty to felony campaign finance fraud.
