Trump just lashed out at Nancy Pelosi in panicked outburst about her prison remarks

President Trump has taken to Twitter to attack Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) once again. He seems to be growing increasingly worried about her, with her recent comments that she wants to see him in jail, in particular, unnerving him.

The president trotted out his painfully ineffective and inaccurate nickname “Nervous Nancy” and insisted that she is a “disgrace to herself and her family” for making such a “disgusting statement,” Presumably, the statement he’s referring to is the aforementioned one about him going to jail. Keep in mind this is the same man who encouraged chants of “Lock her up!” about Hillary Clinton at his campaign rallies. The difference is that Trump actually belongs in prison for his multiple attempts to obstruct justice.

The hypocrisy then deepened, as the president whined that the Speaker made her comments while he was “with foreign leaders overseas.” Trump himself attacked both Pelosi and Special Counsel Mueller during an interview at a WWII in Normandy, France yesterday, on D-Day no less. This is not a man whoever bites his tongue and for him to suggest that others should is downright laughable.

He lied that there is “no evidence” that indicates he should be in jail. In reality, the Mueller report pointed out ten different occasions on which he appears to have obstructed justice.

Trump rounded out his little Twitter attack by saying that Democrats are getting “zero work done in Congress,” but the lack of meaningful legislation falls squarely at his feet. He has failed to articulate any kind of real agenda beyond his pointless border wall. He has no vision for actually improving this country and would be incapable of doing it even if he did.

Democrats have countless policies that would help Americans, but they can’t get them passed until they once again hold the White House. The only way forward is for this country to vote Trump and his Republican cronies out of office as soon as possible.
