Fox’s Chris Wallace just publicly declared Pelosi the winner of Trump’s feud and rubbed it in his face

President Trump had a rough week. On Wednesday, he went to a meeting with Democratic leadership under the pretense of discussing the infrastructure bill he has been promising since he was first elected. Rather than dig into the details of the legislation he demanded that all investigations into his administration immediately end, saying that negotiations could not proceed until his condition was met.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) refused, and Trump stormed out of the meeting like an angry child. Almost immediately after his abrupt departure from the meeting, he arrived in the Rose Garden for a clearly preplanned press conference in which he raged against the Democrats and the Muller investigation, making himself look incredibly guilty in the process. He followed that up with a fuming tweetstorm.

Pelosi described his unhinged behavior as a “temper tantrum” which then led to him insisting numerous time on Twitter and in front of cameras that he was, in fact, perfectly calm during the meeting. It was clear that the Speaker had gotten under his skin.

Now, even Fox News is admitting that Pelosi got the best of the president. Chris Wallace spoke about the embarrassing incident and he didn’t hold back.

“I have to say I’m not sure who was trolling whom. I think they were trying to get under each other’s skin. There is no question that Nancy Pelosi, when she starts talking about ‘I pray for the president’ and perhaps his family should have an intervention, was trying to get at the president,” said Wallace.

“And clearly she succeeded to some degree in getting under his skin when yesterday at the press conference he called on what, about four or five members of his administration to confirm the fact that he didn’t have a ‘temper tantrum’ and didn’t lose his temper when he ended the meeting on infrastructure on Wednesday,” he went on.

One can only imagine how furious Trump was when he turned on his favorite news station expecting some calming laudatory propaganda and was instead greeted by a reminder of how thoroughly the Democratic Speaker drubbed him this week.
