Despite President Trump’s dishonest claim that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference in the 2016 election has totally exonerated him, the story is far from over.

Attorney General William Barr refused a Congressional subpoena demanding that he hand over the full unredacted report, which in turn prompted the House Judiciary Committee to hold him in contempt. Clearly, we still don’t have a full and fair picture of what Mueller discovered about Trump and his cronies, and the details that continue to trickle out are damning.
Now, Politico’s Kyle Cheney has reported a new revelation. Mueller’s team has unsealed more evidence, and it shows that disgraced former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn provided assistance to investigators looking into possible obstruction of justice crimes. The evidence includes both testimony and a voicemail to Flynn from one of the president’s lawyers which “could have affected” that testimony.
“On November 23, 2017, Flynn’s attorneys returned the call from the President’s personal Counsel to acknowledge receipt of the voicemail. Flynn’s attorneys reiterated that they were no longer in a position to share information under any sort of privilege. According to Flynn ‘s attorneys, the President’s personal counsel was indignant and vocal in his disagreement,” the filing states.
On top of that, it was revealed that an unnamed individual who is described as “connected to Congress” tried to dissuade Flynn from testifying, which sounds an awful lot like obstruction of justice.
“The defendant informed the government of multiple instances, both before and after his guilty plea, where either he or his attorneys received communications from persons connected to the Administration or Congress that could’ve affected both his willingness to cooperate and the completeness of that cooperation. The defendant even provided a voicemail recording of one such communication,” reads one section of the filing.
It’s worth noting that Mueller ultimately pointed to ten different incidents where Trump may have obstructed justice, but his personally appointed lapdog Attorney General Barr refused to pursue charges in what can only be described as a gross miscarriage of justice.

The unsealed evidence also shows that Flynn helped investigate the Wikileaks email release operation, an important bit of information given the fact that the “transparency” organization is widely suspected now to be little more than an appendage of the Russian intelligence apparatus.
All in all, the newly released evidence is terrible news for an administration desperately trying to put the Mueller report in the rearview mirror. Hopefully, more evidence will continue to be released and the investigation will haunt Donald Trump until he is impeached or voted out of office.
