Trump just lashed out at the media and threw a whiny fit over Don Jr. being called to testify

President Trump’s reptile of a son Donald Jr. is increasingly finding himself in hot water and seems to lack the instincts or the basic intellect to extricate himself properly. The Republican-controlled Senate Intelligence Committee has now issued a subpoena for him to testify as part of their investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election after he backed out of two previously scheduled voluntary interviews.

The deeply suspicious behavior on the part of the First Son prompted Senate Intel. Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-NC) to issue the subpoena in question, and the fact that the GOP is breaking ranks to push Donald Jr. on the subject is a bad sign for the administration and an indication that their Mueller troubles are far from over.

The president himself is deeply displeased with the new developments, and today came to the defense of his cretinous son, taking his best shot at damage control by trying to paint his habitually criminal son as an innocent victim.

“It’s really a tough situation because my son spent I guess over 20 hours testifying about something that Mueller said was 100 percent OK. And now they want him to testify again. I don’t know why. I have no idea why. But it seems very unfair to me,” claimed Trump, despite the fact that Special Counsel Robert Mueller never actually fully exonerated Donald Jr.

The president’s decision to defend his son is most likely a strategic, PR move rather than something done out of affection or love. If it comes down to it in the end, you can be certain he will be more than willing to throw any of his family members under the bus to save himself.

Despite his father’s protestations, Donald Trump Jr. has only himself to blame. If he has nothing to hide there is no reason why he would have canceled his previously scheduled interviews and his decision to submerge himself fully in his father’s corruption is his mistake and his alone.

We know this man is not a patriotic American, and we need look no further than his decision to meet with surrogates of the Russian government at Trump Tower for the purpose of obtaining dirt on Hillary Clinton. His guilt runs deep, and before this is all over he will be exposed.
