Trump just tried to take on Biden and Bernie at once in a trembling Twitter tirade

The Democratic field going into 2020 is impressively strongly, full of candidates who would make infinitely better presidents than the cruel, incompetent creature currently shacked up in the Oval Office. Even so, whoever ends up as the Democratic nominee will have a tough fight ahead of them because — as unfortunate as it is to admit — Donald Trump still has a good shot at reelection, with the advantage of the incumbency buoying him.

It’s crucial that every patriotic American who wants to save this country saved from another disastrous four years under Trump unite behind whichever Democrat faces off against him in the general election.

Trump, for his part, seems to already be worried about the election, as he’s begun to wheel out his trademark nicknames for his opponents, employing all the cleverness and finesse of a third-grade schoolyard bully.

Today, he took to Twitter to attack former Vice President Joe Biden, who appears to be the current Democratic frontrunner in most polls, and Senator Bernie Sanders, who is polling second in many polls and first in others.

Trump predicted that the Democratic nominee would end up being one of the two men, referring to Biden as “SleepyCreepy Joe” and Sanders as “Crazy Bernie,” asserting that the other candidates are “fading fast.” It’s of course not surprising that a bigoted, misogynist man such as Trump would discount all of the female candidates and women of color running, and his opinion at this early stage should not be taken seriously.

The Democratic candidates have yet to debate even once yet, and it’s still possible that one of the other candidates could end up pulling ahead in the end. Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Kamala Harris, and Mayor Pete Buttigieg have also scored highly in different polls, to say nothing of the fact that even those polling a bit lower could see a surge in the coming months.
