Ivanka just deleted a photo she tweeted after realizing it contained “national security” documents

This past Sunday, the execrable queen of American nepotism Ivanka Trump tweeted out a photograph of herself posing with World Bank President David Malpass. In a sane world, that sentence would read as utter nonsense, since there is no good reason for the First Daughter — who has no real economic expertise or political legitimacy — to be meeting with such an important international figure.

Alas, we are so far through the looking glass now that we have come to accept the absurd fact that Donald Trump’s bumbling children regularly have meetings like this. He has foisted his criminal offspring onto the world stage, shredding America’s global reputation in the process.

Oddly enough, Ivanka ended up deleting the tweet, and some have been speculating it was due to the fact that a document entitled “National Security Strategy” can be seen laying on a table in the photo. Ivanka ended up tweeting the image out again, this time with the document in question cropped out. It’s not totally clear why she chose to do this.

When Newsweek reached out to the White House for some kind of explanation for the weird behavior, they did not receive a prompt response. While this is far from the most egregious thing Ivanka Trump has done to date, it’s yet another reminder of how incompetent and unsuited for this line of work she really is. The sooner we get her father out of the Oval Office, the sooner we can all go back to forgetting who Ivanka Trump is.
