Morning Joe and Mika just clowned on Fox & Friends’ pathetic excuses for Trump’s failures

The New York Times served up fresh humiliation for Donald Trump this week, reducing his already damaged and patently false reputation as a master businessman and dealmaker by releasing a decade of his tax returns, from 1985 to 1994. Rather than revealing him to be the massive success he insists he is, they show that that Trump’s businesses lost over $1 billion during the ten-year stretch. In fact, each year of that decade he appears to have lost more money than any other single American taxpayer.

The only two options are that he is one of the most incompetent real estate developers in history, or that he engaged in major tax evasion, cheating the American people out of a massive sum of money. Neither is defensible and both call into question his ability to be president. Or they would if he hadn’t already proven himself stunningly incapable of performing his sworn duties as leader of the United States.

Of course, the usual Republican sycophants came out of the woodwork to defend him, hilariously claiming the $1 billion losses were somehow a good, impressive thing. The mental gymnastics were truly something to behold and yet another reminder that there is literally nothing President Trump can’t do that his little cheerleaders at Fox News won’t celebrate.

Now, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski of Morning Joe have torn into the circus of clowns over at Fox & Friends, and the two MSNBC hosts were barely able to control themselves, lapsing into giggling fits as they replayed clips from both Fox and of Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) talking about Trump’s tax return losses.

“Oh, my God. Just how do they that? I don’t know how they do that. You just know people, and it just becomes surreal,” mocked Scarborough.

Their reaction is exactly how most of us probably feel when we see the embarrassing behavior unfolding over at Fox News, and it’s a joy to see Morning Joe treating it as seriously as it deserves.
