The View’s producers just exposed Meghan McCain’s humiliating Trump hypocrisy

It’s crucial to recognize that even after we manage to get rid of President Trump — either through impeachment or at the ballot box — this country still has a dire problem on its hands with the current Republican Party. He is by far the most odious and outspoken member of his party, but the entire organization is absolutely riddled with deeply corrupt crooks. The GOP no longer has any desire to serve the American people and is solely devoted to servicing the interests of the hyper-wealthy international oligarchs.

With that in mind, a new report from The Daily Mail should come as little surprise. In it, producers from The View reveal their belief that co-host Meghan McCain, daughter of the late senator, missed several days of work by claiming to be sick when in reality she was lying low as news broke that her father-in-law is the subject of an ethics investigation. After the two sick-days were over the producers say it was as if she had been “miraculously healed.”

“She took off to avoid having to talk about her husband’s dad and everyone knew it.,” said the producers.

Doug Domenech, the man in question, is one of six Department of the Interior officials to fall under the umbrella of a new ethics violations investigation. Originally reported in The Washington Post, Domenech is the highest-ranking member of the group and serves as Assistant Secretary for Insular and International Affairs.

Allegedly, Domenech broke the rules by carrying on a backroom relationship with a conservative think tank called Fueling Freedom Project at the Texas Public Policy Foundation where he worked before his appointment by the Trump administration. Unfortunately for Domenech and the rest, President Trump enacted an executive order that bans such colluding to avoid conflicts of interest.

McCain was reportedly “embarrassed” by the news and avoided work to avoid discussing it, which is at best cowardice and at worst enabling. She makes such a huge point out of being some kind of moral conservative, but she has surrounded herself with people of clear low moral character, which increasingly seems to be the only kind of person involved with the GOP.

“She comes on the show daily and says she hates Donald Trump and has benefited from the president’s attack on her late father,” one source explained to DailyMailTV.

McCain has been a vocal critic of the president, especially given the attacks he launched against her father, but at the same time her father-in-law is benefitting directly from the fact that the Trump administration is in power. In general, she avoids talking about her husband or father-in-law on air, and now we see why.

“She doesn’t like talking about her husband because he has a very checkered past,” said one source to DailyMailTV.

Presumably, the source was referring to the fact that McCain’s husband Ben Domenech has a history of plagiarism.  He also stirred controversy when he wrote that Elena Kagan might be the “first openly gay justice” even though she is not gay. On top of that, he was embroiled in another scandal involving his taking of money from the Malaysian government to covertly write pieces favorable about their country. Clearly, father and son both have a problem with ethics.

“Let’s face it, she’s a hypocrite! She touts conservative values and principles, but I guess those principles apply to everyone except the person she decided to marry,” said one producer.

Perhaps going forward, Meghan McCain will reconsider the constant self-righteous grandstanding. If she won’t even confront the corruption in her own family, how can anyone take her criticisms of Trump seriously?
