The Mueller Report just revealed startling new details about Ivanka Trump’s Russia connections

The long-awaited release of the Mueller Report today had some surprising news regarding the President’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, who was revealed to have been much more deeply involved with the Trump Tower Moscow plans than was previously believed.

Yahoo News reports that the First Daughter herself had contacts with Russians during the run-up to the 2016 election, most notably a “Kremlin-linked fashion blogger,” Mira Duma, who passed along invitations for her and her father to attend the St. Petersberg forum, an event which the Trumps declined to attend.

The wide variety of ways in which the Russians tried to get to the Trump family were made clear in the Mueller Report, which describes how in late 2015 the wife of an executive at a large Russian electric company contacted Ivanka Trump to offer her husband’s “assistance to the Trump Campaign.”

On top of that, it appears that she was intimately involved with key events in the Trump-Russia saga, including being aware of the infamous Trump Tower meeting between her brother Don Jr., her husband Jared Kushner, campaign manager Paul Manafort, and “Kremlin-linked lawyer” Nataliya Veselnitskaya where Don Jr. was offered dirt on the Clintons.

Ivanka and her husband were at the heart of an internal push to come up with a strategy to deal with the public fallout from the meeting and the inevitable discovery of the pertinent emails that led to the meeting, but Trump refused to do so, insisting that “he did not want to know about it [and] shutting the conversation down.” Ivanka was also present on Air Force One when Trump finally did address the controversy, possibly committing obstruction of justice by “encouraging his son to make false statements.”

Ivanka’s lawyer has refused to comment on any of this.

While it’s unlikely that any consequences will fall on the President’s daughter for her role in all this, it’s still more proof of how thick the corruption flows in the Trump family — and how we need to exile her from polite society after all this is said and done for her complicity.
