Police arrived to find the haunting sight of a red hat on the ground near spattered blood, a metaphor for the Trump presidency so on the nose you would be hard-pressed to top it.

It’s unclear what started the altercation, but roller rink patron Scott Sweeney told San Francisco’s KPIX 5 channel that he and his girlfriend had encountered the roaming chud earlier in the night and said that he had hurled homophobic slurs at them.

This is not even the first MAGA-related sword attack to happen this year. In January, a member of the Proud Boys and ardent believer of the Trump Q-anon conspiracy murdered his own brother with a sword, believing him to be a lizard.

Police are asking anyone with information about the attack to call investigators at 415-575-4444.
