Trump just lashed out at the wind in bizarre interview

Donald Trump just made an ignorant complaint about wind power during a softball interview on his favorite safe space, Fox News.

Trump called into Hannity to speak with his friend and favorite propagandist and the rabid host quickly launched into a lengthy, typically factless ramble. The president interrupted to rant about the military and blurt out that wind power doesn’t work because “it doesn’t always blow.”

Anyone with common sense knows that America has a lot of different electrical generation methods to complement clean wind power, which is not always available.

That includes the U.S. Department of Energy, whose website is available to anyone who can read it, which says:

The wind does not always blow and the sun doesn’t always shine, which creates additional variability (due to the changing output of wind and solar) and uncertainty (due to the inability to perfectly forecast wind or solar output).

But anyone who knows Trump knows that his idiotic comments about wind power are not about facts, nor about policies, but about his own personal financial situation.

The Trump Organization spent years fighting against the world’s most powerful wind farm installation, which has recently been completed off the coast of his golf course in Aberdeenshire.

Trump began fighting the wind farm in 2011, but by the end of last month, he ran out of legal options and a UK court ordered him to pay the Scottish government’s attorney’s fees. The president responded three days later with a corrupt tweet back-handedly threatening the UK over their court’s independent decision to force him to pay legal fees.

Wind power is a clean alternative to the dirty emissions produced by America’s dwindling coal-fired power plans, but Donald Trump doesn’t care because he’s fact-proof and allergic to reading.

Sirius XM morning show host John Fugelsang has a different theory about why Trump is so upset, which could easily explain why the President’s panties are in a bunch over wind power.
