Yesterday, the self-proclaimed “very stable genius” president who insists he has a “very, very large brain” had his latest senile moment during a meeting with Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Whether because he thinks all companies are modeled after surnames like his own Trump Organization, or because Trump’s mind is simply deteriorating by the day, the president referred to Cook as “Tim Apple.” Not surprisingly, a clip of the embarrassing mistake quickly went viral, inviting a wave of ridicule.

To my right, Tim Apple. And to my left, Ivanka Nepotism.

Not to be confused with Bill Microsoft.

Unfortunately, for Trump, this is not the first time he’s humiliated himself in exactly this way. Last March, during an appearance with Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson, Trump referred to her as Marillyn Lockheed.

Such a mistake would have been weird even once, but the fact that it’s happened twice now elevates it to that special brand of strange that’s unique to our current idiot president. It’s almost as if the part of Trump’s mushy brain that’s supposed to remember human names is rotting even faster than the rest of his gray matter. And, at the risk of invoking a wave of uneasiness in the reader, it’s worth recalling this is the man with full control of the United States’ nuclear arsenal.
Now, Tim Cook appears to be trolling President Trump over his faux pas. Cook has edited his Twitter profile to include an Apple emoji immediately after his name, effectively rendering his online persona as “Tim Apple.”
While it’s more of a gentle ribbing than brutal mockery, the little move is certain to extend the news cycle over Trump’s stupid mistake a bit longer, which is exactly what the man deserves. It’s important that Americans be reminded that the most powerful man in the world is incapable of such simple tasks as remembering people’s names. He clearly lacks the mental fitness to properly execute the duties of his office and must be removed as soon as possible.
