Ocasio-Cortez just accused Jerry Falwell Jr. of threatening violence against her at CPAC

Amidst an atmosphere of dueling charges of bigotry between Republicans — attacking everyone except the white men who comprise the majority of their party — and progressive Democrats — who are questioning the power on U.S. foreign policy of AIPAC, the pro-right-wing Israeli government lobby  — Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has suddenly found herself in a Twitter feud with evangelical leader Jerry Falwell Jr.

The supposed “Christian” pastor seems to have missed reading the part of the Bible where the commandment “Thou shalt not kill” is mandated since he threatened to shoot the Bronx-born Congresswoman if she tried to “take his cows”  — as right-wing propagandists have falsely characterized AOC’s Green NewDeal as advocating — in remarks he made at the CPAC convention this weekend.

A pastor who actually interprets the Bible in the spirit of Jesus’s non-violent teachings, Bishop Talbert Swan, pointed out that Falwell Jr.’s threat against the Congresswoman was not the only violent threat the false follower of the Prince of Peace has made.

Representative Ocasio-Cortez echoed Bishop Swan’s recognition of the double standard employed by hypocritical right-wing flag wavers who cry anti-Semitism whenever a progressive Democrat questions the power of the pro-Netanyahu government lobbyists at AIPAC while simultaneously attacking the Muslim Semites in the Arab world.

The attempted legitimization of the bigotry displayed at CPAC by the president and his band of equally deplorable acolytes is something that the freshman congresswoman can’t let go unanswered.

Her guess on what the administration will claim once their hypocrisy is exposed demonstrates either a remarkable prescience or a keen knowledge of the standard operating procedures of the Trump administration’s well-compensated excuse generators.

Either way, the right-wing now has an adversary willing and able to utilize Twitter for her corrections to the barrels of B.S. that her critics seem to wheel out on a daily basis.
