Trump just reacted to Michael Cohen’s damning testimony in panicked, delusional Twitter outburst

This morning, the President took to Twitter to finally address the “hostile” testimony of his former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen before the House Oversight Committee that took place earlier this week, and in classic Trump fashion — deny, discredit, blame the media, and praise himself.

Desperate to exonerate himself from the damning revelations of Michael Cohen, the President complained that, in fact, it was Democrats who had broken the law without giving any explanation or reference to how they might have done so. He went on to argue that it was the fault of the “fake news media” and asserted that a manuscript of Michael Cohen’s book, which may or may not exist at all, somehow contradicted the sworn testimony under oath before the United States Congress.

His attacks on Cohen credibility and attempts to smear him as a “liar” fall flat, because the lie that Cohen was convicted of saying was “Donald Trump did nothing wrong.”

But as is visible in every Trump tweet about the Mueller probe and the walls closing in around the president, his denials and protestations of innocence are obvious projections that only serve to indicate how guilty he is and how unsettled he is at the thought of having to face justice for what we now know are decades of crimes on top of the allegations related to the 2016 campaign.
