As former Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen continued his testimony in front of the House Oversight Committee, Fordham University confirmed the details of one of the revelations Cohen made earlier in his appearance.
During his prepared opening statement, Cohen told the committee that President Trump requested that he threaten the schools that he had attended and the College Board to prevent them from releasing the details of his grades and SAT scores in an effort to prevent embarrassment during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Scott Detrow, the congressional correspondent for NPR, revealed that Fordham University has confirmed Cohen’s accusations.
Fordham, where Trump attended for 2 years, confirms to NPR that someone on the Trump campaign reached out toward beginning of presidential runs, asking about grades being released (1/)

After the call, school spokesman says, "Fordham received a follow-up letter from one of Mr. Trump's attorneys summarizing the call and reminding us that they would take action against the University if we did, in fact, release Mr. Trump's records."

Given President Trump’s normal penchant for exaggerating his accomplishments and bragging about non-existent achievements, it’s fairly apparent that Trump’s grades are not something he would want the public to see — as if we needed any further evidence that Trump is less than the “stable genius” that he claims to be.
Cohen says he has receipts of Trump's shady financial dealings, hush payments to women during campaign, & fraud related to his foundation & academic records.
