It has been absolutely hilarious to watch the Republican Party and all of its mouthpieces do their best to sully and discredit the words of former Trump lawyer, fixer, and Trump Organization vice-president Michael Cohen after spending so much time and energy into defending him before he flipped.

Even the Republican Party’s official Twitter account got in on the action, complaining that Michael Cohen was a convicted felon and a proven liar, conveniently forgetting that the lie that made him a felon was “Donald Trump did nothing wrong.”
Michael Cohen is a convicted felon who has consistently engaged in deceptive and misleading criminal behavior including tax evasion, lying to financial institutions, and lying to Congress.

Their attack fell flat on its face, however, as Twitter users quickly began to hammer the GOP for the contents of their own website, which STILL glowingly celebrates Michael Cohen for his work as the Deputy National Finance Chairman for the entire Republican Party.

No matter how hard they try, there’s no getting around what a huge role he played in every aspect of the president’s business, presidential campaign, and criminal cover-ups, which is a damning indictment of the GOP in and of itself for breathlessly defending Cohen up to the very moment the narrative changed and he became a liability for them.
America, and the internet at large, is not going to forget any time soon:

Wow, that’s incredibly damning.
Can you imagine how inept an organization would have to be to hire him for a leadership role?
As a Deputy Finance Chairman or something?

Maybe you shouldn't have made him your Deputy National Finance Chairman then, huh?
