UPDATED: Cohen’s prepared testimony has been released by Politico. In it, he calls the president “a racist… a con man… a cheat” who knew Roger Stone was coordinating with Wikileaks to release hacked DNC emails and willfully deceived the American public about his financial dealings with Moscow.
President Donald Trump’s convicted former personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen is set to testify before Congress over the next few days, and his confession is going to open up a whole new can of worms for our perpetually embattled president.
CNBC News reports that former Trump Organization vice-president is planning to tell Congress that President Trump broke the law while in office, along with important information about Trump’s financial statements.

Cohen is expected to provide evidence of alleged criminal conduct by Trump since he became president, NBC News said. In addition to his testimony, Cohen will reveal information about Trump’s financial statements, according to NBC, citing a source who declined to be named.
Axios is reporting that this evidence is entirely new and has only been unearthed in the past 48 hours, and will prove that Trump constantly lies about the value of his wealth and assets he actually owns to both the public and his business partners, among other things.
The crimes committed while in office pertain to the reimbursement of the infamous hush money payments to former Trump mistresses Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal to buy their silence and keep their allegations from influencing the election.
Cohen is also planning to speak on the President’s role in the Trump Tower Moscow plan, including how he used code words to conceal his awareness of the aborted real estate deal, and will be recounting the conversations that he had with the president about it.
Cohen struck a guilty plea deal with prosecutors in August after it became clear he wasn’t going to be able to escape the months-long investigation into the New York scam artist for tax fraud, bank fraud, and felony campaign finance violations. He would go on to again plead guilty to lying to the Senate Intelligence Committee about the Trump Tower Moscow deal.
Since his guilty pleas and his inevitable disavowing by the man whose ass he covered for nearly a decade, Cohen has switched gears and has been enthusiastically cooperating with law enforcement in their efforts to bring Donald Trump to justice for his crimes.
Given a chance to redeem himself before the nation, Cohen has seized it with both hands. While Trump and his cronies have tried to discredit him as a liar and a felon, there’s one major problem with that line of defense — and it’s definitely going to come back to haunt them!
it is insanely funny that the white house tries to smear michael cohen with the phrase "convicted liar" when the lie he was convicted for telling was "donald trump did nothing wrong"
