How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day when you’re a married man who happens to be the most powerful man in the world? Well, according to Trump you wake up and — rather than carry out some romantic gesture for the First Lady — you snatch up your phone in your grubby little paws and launch another attack on one of the primary organizations responsible for protecting the United States. Specifically, Trump decided to attack former Acting Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe.

Presumably, the decision to go after McCabe was spurred by the bombshell revelation from the former Acting Director that the Department of Justice floated the idea of removing Trump from office by invoking the 25th Amendment after the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.

Trump said that McCabe pretends to be a “poor little angel,” an ironic insult coming from a man whose entire persona is built around a sense of aggrieved false victimization. Trump lied and said that McCabe was a part of some “Crooked Hillary Scandal,” something which doesn’t exist and also the “Russia Hoax.” The fact that Trump is still referring to the Muller probe as a “hoax” even after the numerous indictments and convictions that have been handed out, including to his former campaign manager and his former National Security Advisor, shows you just delusional he believes his supporters to be.

Trump went on to attack former FBI Director James Comey, using the fact that numerous FBI “brass” were fired or forced to leave as an attack when in reality it just shows how corrupt Trump is, and how willing he is to remove competent personnel in order to obstruct justice.

The whole Twitter rant reads as little more than the conspiracy theory ravings of a man who knows he’s on the verge of being caught for his crimes, or at the very least someone who realizes the entire country is losing faith in him.
