Trump’s evangelical advisor just launched a personal attack against anti-Trump Christians

Anyone harboring the suspicion that President Trump is the biblically foretold Anti-Christ got further confirmation of their belief yesterday from Pastor Robert Jeffress, an evangelical advisor to the president with an incredibly distorted view of the teachings of Jesus as expressed in the New Testament gospel of love and forgiveness.

In an appearance on the Fox News Radio talk show of arch-conservative Todd Starnes, Jeffress attacked evangelical Christians who properly recognize that the speech and behavior of President Trump are the very antitheses of the message contained in the Bible.

“Let me say this as charitably as I can,” Jeffress began his tirade hypocritically. “These ‘Never Trump’ evangelicals are morons. They are absolutely spineless morons and they cannot admit that they were wrong.”

Wrong is right. Down is up. Stupid is smart. Lies are truth.

Yes, Jeffress is obviously a denizen of Bizzaro World, where everything is the exact opposite of how things normally are on earth in the fictional mythology of Superman comics.

It gets worse.

Not only did the morally deficient pastor call the evangelical believers who see through Trump’s evil machinations to limit women’s right to control their own bodies “spineless morons,” he compared them to German Christians who “remained silent” during Hitler’s reign in Nazi Germany.

“We cannot afford to be like German Christians who, in the rise of the evil reign of Adolf Hitler, just remained neutered. They remained silent. And you saw what happened there,” he continued. “I think there’s a similar wave of godlessness that is rising in our country right now and we must push back against that tide,” Jeffress told the radio listeners.

Cue the sounds of jaws dropping to the floor across the country.

The ability of faux Christians like Jeffress to leverage their support of Donald Trump to help them convince their gullible believers to contribute to their campaigns of intolerance and hate — while financing their McMansions and private jets — is remarkable for its exploitation of faith channeled toward the polar opposite of Christ’s actual teachings.

One of the “Never Trump” evangelicals that this false prophet is likely referring to, the progressive, compassionate, and intelligent John Pavlovitz, posted what serves as a perfect response to Jeffress’ political propaganda disguised as a moral screed in one of his Twitter posts.

Let’s leave you with his more accurate rendering of the essence of biblical messaging to purify your brain after the exposure it’s received to the truly distorted and heretical version of Christianity that Jeffress is trying to peddle.

It’s worth clicking through to the full article that Pavlovitz has written on the subject, but in the meantime, here’s a short excerpt that encapsulates the essence of the president who just may be the prophesied false messiah.

Now that doesn’t take the slightest leap of faith to believe.
