Nancy Pelosi just publicly embarrassed Trump over his “presidential harassment” whining

One of the oddest aspects of the MAGA phenomenon is the way in which its adherent insist that Donald Trump is a tough guy, a masculine, fearless leader standing in the way of the “liberal snowflake” deterioration of America. In reality, he’s nothing more than a chronic complainer, a crybaby who throws a self-pitying tantrum every time he is criticized or his agenda is blocked. This morning, he gave us yet another reminder of this basic, undeniable fact.

Trump took to Twitter to whine about what he has taken to calling “presidential harassment” which in this case appears to be any kind of legitimate scrutiny of his rampant corruption, criminality, and incompetence.

On top of the fact that there is no such thing as “president harassment,” it’s worth pointing out that this is the same racist bully who alleged that our first black president wasn’t born in the United States. Compared to what President Obama faced, Trump has it easy.

Now, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has addressed the president’s pathetic remarks. While talking to reporters, she was asked about this morning’s tweetstorm and if she thinks perhaps Democrats are overplaying their hand by opening so many investigations into the administration. She didn’t back down and once again demonstrated why she is the perfect Democrat to lead the fight against Donald Trump by casually dismissing his tweets as projection.

“I am not commenting on what the president has to say about our work. I always think that whatever the president says about us, he’s projecting his own unruliness. He’s a projector and that’s what it’s about. I’m very proud of the work of our committees. Even Republicans have complimented the committees on being wise in how they proceed, in terms of subpoenas and the rest,” said Pelosi.

We will not surrender our constitutional responsibilities for oversight — that would make us delinquent in our duties. So I’m not going to respond to any characterization or mischaracterization of the president. I’m just not going there. But I do think he’s using the word ‘unruly’ as a projection of his own administration,” Pelosi added.

In other words, Trump can scream and rant on Twitter all he wants. The Democrats, under Pelosi’s leadership, will continue to execute their duties on behalf of the American people.
