A top Trump campaign advisor just hit Democratic Congresswomen with a disgusting smear over white outfits

Last night, Trump delivered his slavering State of the Union Address to Congress and gave a deeply uninspired speech dripping with his usual self-aggrandizement, xenophobia, and scatterbrained ramblings. Long gone are the days of articulate American statesman charting out the future of our country in carefully considered and heartfelt terms. Now, we’re saddled with an incoherent imbecile who cares more about watching television than actually running the country.

The president somehow managed to be the least interesting person in the room, even as everyone else was forced to listen to the feebled rhetorical dribblings of his senile mind. One aspect of the proceedings that was worth paying attention to was the crowd of one hundred and two women of the Democratic caucus who wore white outfits to honor the suffragette movement.

“We’ll honor all those who came before us and send a message of solidarity that we’re not going back on our hard-earned rights,” said Representative Lois Frankel (D-FL), the Chairwoman of the House Democratic Women’s Working Group explained.

It was a powerful signal and an obvious rebuke of Trump himself, a well-documented misogynist and self-proclaimed sexual predator who sees women as nothing more than objects to be ignored, overpowered, or hated. Last night when he walked up to that podium and saw the sea of white outfits, on some level he had to know that things are turning against him in this country. Women are standing up to him.

Of course, it was only a matter of time before Trump or one of his toadies attacked the Democratic Congresswomen. Katrina Pierson, the former spokesperson for the Trump 2016 campaign and a senior advisor for his 2020 reelection campaign, took to Twitter to make a crude joke about the Democratic women.

She compared their white outfits to Ku Klux Klan robes, a stunningly disingenuous remark coming from the woman who helped elect a man who is inarguably the biggest racist to hold the White House in decades if not more. Not only was it clearly inaccurate, it was disrespectful towards the innocent men and women who actually suffered at the hands of the KKK.

Pierson’s projection is as pathetic as it is offensive, and she isn’t fooling anyone.
