For tonight’s State of the Union speech, all one hundred and two women of the Democratic caucus wore white in honor of the suffragettes who fought for a woman’s right to vote and paved the way for the feminist movement.
“We’ll honor all those who came before us and send a message of solidarity that we’re not going back on our hard-earned rights,” proclaimed the chair of the House Democratic Women’s Working Group, Rep. Lois Frankel (D-FL) earlier in the week.
And honor those before them they did. The president looked out over a sea of white and even appeared surprised when they erupted in cheers when he announced there were more women in Congress today than ever before — no thanks to the Republican Party, who sent only 13 women to the house as opposed to the 102 from the Democrats.

But the President would probably be even more surprised to see that one of the women in white was his own daughter, Tiffany Trump, who sent a clear message to her misogynist father by wearing white like Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats as opposed to the black chosen by First Lady Melania Trump and White House “advisor” Ivanka Trump.

Tiffany is the dark horse of the family and has steadfastly remained out of the spotlight, out of the headlines, and most importantly, out of federal grand jury subpoenas.
While we don’t know what exactly she was trying to say with her choice of garb, it definitely sends her father a loud and clear message — that she does not endorse his misogynist and racist agenda and identifies more with the ideals and values of the Democratic Party instead.
