Let’s get lies and denials out of the way right off the bat.
“I know nothing about Russia,” President Trump said during his second presidential debate with Hillary Clinton. “I don’t deal there.”
“I have nothing to do with Russia. I don’t have any jobs in Russia. I’m all over the world but we’re not involved in Russia,” he told the CBS Miami affilliate in 2016.
Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA – NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!

And yet, there’s this:
For those of you don’t speak Russian or read Cyrillic, the video you see above contains footage of Donald Trump meeting with officials in Moscow in 1995 over a decade before he made the statements above.
According to the British newspaper, The Independent, “the former mayor of Moscow has confirmed Donald Trump met with officials in Russia in the 1990s to discuss a possible building project” after a researcher combing through the Russian State TV archives found the footage above and posted it online for all to see.
“Trump was in Moscow,” Yury Luzhkov, the mayor of Moscow from 1992 through 2010, told the Interfax news agency. “He had contacts…on matters related to the construction of the Okhotny Ryad underground mall on Manezh Square.”
“[Trump] planned to take part in the mall’s construction,” the former mayor reportedly told Interfax. “There were intentions… but the matter didn’t go further.”
While the footage does not in and of itself constitute evidence of criminal activity by Trump at that particular time, his continued denials of the facts of his considerable interest in and the pursuit of Russian business dealings — now proven to have begun even earlier than previously known — demonstrate the complete lack of credibility that his protestations merit.
Combined with BuzzFeed News’ publication of the actual planning documents and sketches of the proposed Trump Tower Moscow from late in 2015, the new video lays waste to President Trump’s false claims of having no connections with Russia as his administration is under investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller for its alleged collusion with the Kremlin during the 2016 election and his desperate attempts to halt that probe by any means at his disposal.
He knows about Russia, he’s dealt with Russia, he’s involved with Russia, and we’re supposed to believe him when he says that the Kremlin has never tried to use leverage over him? Yeah, right.
The continued support that the president receives from his base of an increasingly shrinking minority of Americans — despite such proof of his compulsive lying and his attempts to hide the truth behind his extensive Russian connections – is mind-boggling.
When will these sheeple wake up and realize they’ve fallen prey to the biggest con job in American history? When and if they do, it is far, far too late to contain the damage that Trump and Russia have already caused in our society.
